Musk Offers Support

Elon Musk announced on he will cover legal fees for Jeffrey Epstein victims sued for speaking out about their alleged abusers. The pledge came after conservative commentator Matt Walsh questioned why victims haven't publicly named perpetrators, despite a Super Bowl ad calling for Attorney General Pam Bondi to release Justice Department investigation files.

Walsh noted the publicity campaign began when Biden left office, asking why victims won't share names they claim to possess. The Super Bowl advertisement (video) featured Epstein victims requesting transparency from federal authorities about the ongoing investigation into Epstein's network and alleged clients.

Musk's offer addresses potential defamation lawsuits victims might face. The Justice Department investigation into Epstein's connections remains active, with victims advocating for public disclosure of findings and documented relationships with powerful figures allegedly involved in the case. AI Super PACs

Anthropic announced February 12 it will invest $20 million into Public First Action, a super PAC advocating for stricter AI safety regulation (NYT). The move opposes Leading the Future, a rival super PAC backed by OpenAI co-founder Greg Brockman and investors who've pledged over $100 million for lighter federal regulation.

Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei has consistently supported tighter AI oversight, warning that "vast resources have flowed to political organizations" opposing safety efforts. Public First Action will initially fund ad campaigns supporting pro-regulation Republican senators including Marsha Blackburn and Pete Ricketts.

The lobbying battle intensifies as concerns mount over AI's economic impact, including potential job displacement and rising data center electricity costs. Microsoft executive predictions of white-collar automation within 18 months have heightened Washington's regulatory focus on the technology.

ICE Leaves Minnesota

Border czar Tom Homan announced yesterday that President Trump approved ending the federal immigration enforcement surge in Minnesota. The operation deployed thousands of ICE and Border Protection officers to Minneapolis and St. Paul since December. Withdrawals continue through next week, with small personnel remaining temporarily for transition.

Homan replaced Border Patrol commander Gregory Bovino after federal agents fatally shot two U.S. citizens, Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti, in separate January incidents. The deaths sparked widespread protests and soured public opinion toward ICE operations.

Homan credited cooperation from Democratic leaders including Governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison for reducing enforcement targets. He emphasized nationwide deportation efforts continue despite Minnesota drawdown.

TODAY’S LIFE ADVICE

Sleep Quality Beats Sleep Quantity

Sleep expert Dr. Michael Breus challenges the obsession with sleep duration: five hours of high-quality sleep beats seven hours of fragmented rest every time.

Key insights:

  • Sleep quality matters more than quantity

  • Fragmented sleep causes more problems than shorter, deeper sleep

  • Starting around age 45-50, melatonin production slows and sleep becomes naturally more fragmented

  • Poor sleep quality may explain age-related grumpiness more than aging itself

The takeaway: stop counting hours. Focus instead on improving sleep depth and reducing nighttime disruptions for better rest and daytime performance.

How to Sign Up for Trump Accounts

Parents can now register children under 18 for Trump savings accounts using IRS Form 4547 online or when filing 2025 taxes. TOGETHER WITH TIMELINE

Are you too young to think about how you’re aging? Probably not.

Starting in our 30s, some key cellular processes begin to slow down, making us feel tired and weak over time. This decline affects not just our physical strength and endurance, but significantly reduces our quality of life making everyday activities harder to enjoy.

Luckily, scientists have discovered a way to shape how we age. Mitopure®, by Timeline, targets the root cause of this cellular decline and is clinically proven to increase cellular energy, giving our bodies the energy they need to function optimally. The results? Double-digit increases in muscle strength without any change in exercise.
