TOP STORY TODAY

Allies Say “No”

Major European nations refused President Trump's request to send warships to the Strait of Hormuz, despite his warning that NATO faces "a very bad future" if allies decline to help reopen the vital waterway. Germany, Italy, France, Australia, and Japan all said they have no plans to participate.

The strait, which carried roughly 20% of global oil and gas before Iran's effective closure, remains blocked as U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran continue. Drone attacks have already disrupted operations at UAE port Fujairah and briefly halted flights near Dubai.

The U.S. has reported 13 troops killed and roughly 200 wounded since the conflict began February 28. At least 1,825 people have died in Iran, including over 1,200 civilians. Trump’s escalation trap.

Rubio vs. Vance, 2028

Some Republican donors have begun quietly organizing a potential "draft Rubio" effort ahead of 2028, as Secretary of State Marco Rubio's profile has grown significantly during Trump's second term. Rubio recently played a central role in communications around U.S. strikes on Iran.

President Trump has praised Rubio's popularity among allies (video) and has repeatedly asked associates whether they prefer Rubio or VP JD Vance atop a future ticket. Trump has not formally endorsed either, suggesting instead they run together.

Vance remains well-positioned for 2028, and Republican operatives note that donor enthusiasm doesn't always translate to votes, pointing to the 2024 DeSantis experience as a cautionary example. Watch Rubio’s “Year in Review.”

ChatGPT’s Adult Mode

OpenAI delayed its planned "adult mode" for ChatGPT, which would allow erotic text conversations, citing internal concerns and technical challenges (WSJ). The feature was originally slated for Q1 2026. The company's age-verification system was misclassifying minors as adults roughly 12% of the time.

The delay followed pushback from OpenAI's own advisory council, who warned the feature risked fostering emotional overreliance on the chatbot and that minors could gain access. One adviser warned the company could inadvertently create what they called a "sexy suicide coach."

OpenAI confirmed the feature is still planned. The company says it remains committed to treating adult users as adults while building stronger safeguards before launch.

TODAY’S LIFE ADVICE

Lenny Kravitz's Ageless Body Secrets

Lenny Kravitz is 61 years old with a visible six-pack. His approach isn't magic. It's a disciplined combination of diet, movement, and recovery applied consistently for decades.

His diet is primarily raw vegan, heavy on greens, fruits, and herbs. He skips food entirely if hungry at 2 a.m., drinking water instead.

His training:

  • 5 to 6 days per week

  • Resistance training with dumbbells and barbells

  • Pull-ups, compound movements, combination exercises

  • Mobility work built into sessions

The expert takeaway: genetics help, but protein intake, controlled calories, and consistent resistance training drive the real results.

The Buy-Borrow-Die Principle

A little-known but legal wealth strategy lets investors avoid capital gains taxes entirely. Buy an asset, let it grow, then borrow against it instead of selling. Pay no tax on loans. Die holding the asset. Heirs inherit at the current market value, wiping out decades of gains from the IRS's view. The strategy, known as "Buy, Borrow-Die," is entirely legal and widely used among high-net-worth families.
