TOP STORY TODAY
Iran Data Attacks
Iran's Revolutionary Guard claimed drone strikes Thursday on Oracle's Dubai data center and an Amazon cloud facility in Bahrain, plus a U.S. diplomatic site near Baghdad. Dubai's government denied the Oracle claim; neither company publicly confirmed damage.
The attacks follow Tuesday's IRGC warning designating 18 American firms, including Apple, Microsoft, Google, and Nvidia, as legitimate military targets. The Bahrain Amazon facility had already sustained damage from a Wednesday strike. Iran cited U.S.-Israeli assassination operations as justification.
Additional Thursday strikes hit Jordan's Al Azraq U.S. air base and Iraq's Trebil border crossing. Bahrain's foreign minister pushed the UN Security Council for a Friday vote protecting Strait of Hormuz shipping. Regional, live updates.
Attorney General Fired
President Trump fired Attorney General Pam Bondi Friday, replacing her immediately with Deputy AG Todd Blanche in an acting capacity. Bondi is the second Cabinet secretary removed in recent weeks.
Reported reasons for her dismissal include dissatisfaction with her handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files and a belief she had not pursued enough prosecutions of political opponents. Blanche previously served as Trump's personal defense attorney.
Lee Zeldin, currently heading the EPA, is the leading candidate to replace Bondi permanently. Senate confirmation for any nominee could be a lengthy process given the department's current environment (the inside story).
Robot Supply Gap
American humanoid robots increasingly run on Chinese parts. Disney's robotic Olaf uses Unitree components for its neck and legs. Tesla is building a China supplier team for its Optimus robot, with employees visiting makers of sensors and motors ahead of mass production.
The math explains why. Removing Chinese components from Optimus would push its cost from $46,000 to $131,000 (Morgan Stanley), well above Tesla's $20,000 target. China sold 28 humanoid models last year, nearly three times America's output, and controls roughly 70% of the global component supply chain.
Congress is paying attention. A bipartisan House group proposed legislation in February to examine U.S. robotics competitiveness and supply chain exposure. Beijing has identified humanoid robots as a strategic priority through 2027.

TODAY’S LIFE ADVICE
Your Chair Is Rotting Your Brain
New research from 20,000 adults tracked over 19 years found that how you sit matters as much as how long. Passive sitting accelerates dementia risk. Active sitting fights it.
The difference:
Knitting, puzzles, office work = mentally active
TV, music, scrolling = mentally passive
Swapping one passive hour for an active one cuts dementia risk 7%. Adding a walk on top drops it 11%.
The Real Price of a Disney Vacation
Most families underestimate Disney by thousands. A four-day trip for four people can top $6,500 before anyone buys a single Mickey ear.
The biggest budget surprises:
Park tickets alone: up to $3,540 for four
Food adds $60 per person per day
Flights average $386 per ticket domestically
Driving saves money. Staying off-property saves more.
Before you book, see exactly where the $6,500 goes.
