TikTok Deal Reached

President Trump announced Tuesday that the U.S. and China reached an agreement to keep TikTok operating in America, according to White House officials. The deal requires transferring TikTok's American assets from China's ByteDance to U.S. owners before a December 16 deadline.

ByteDance will retain a 19.9% ownership stake while a U.S.-controlled consortium holds the remaining 80%. Investors include Oracle, Andreessen Horowitz, and existing ByteDance shareholders. The deal addresses national security concerns while maintaining TikTok's 170 million American users. Message from The White House here.

The agreement needs Congressional approval and is expected to close within 30-45 days. Final confirmation is scheduled Friday during a call between Trump and Chinese President Xi.

BUSINESS

Jerry Quits Ben

Jerry Greenfield announced Tuesday he's quitting Ben & Jerry's, the ice cream company he co-founded with Ben Cohen in 1978, according to a statement shared on social media. The 47-year veteran accused parent company Unilever of breaking independence promises.

Unilever purchased Ben & Jerry's in 2000 with guarantees of independence for social activism. Recent disputes centered on Palestinian issues, with lawsuits filed in 2022 and 2024. The company also accused Unilever of firing CEO David Stever in March.

Ben & Jerry's will be included in Unilever's planned spin-off called The Magnum Ice Cream Company, debuting in November. Co-founder Ben Cohen supports Greenfield's decision and calls for separating the brand from Unilever operations.

Focus Better

The Ancient Energy Secret That's Taking Over

While coffee gives you jitters and crashes, matcha delivers sustained energy that lasts hours.

This finely ground green tea powder contains L-theanine, an amino acid that promotes calm focus alongside its natural caffeine. Studies suggest matcha may support:

  • Steady energy without the crash

  • Enhanced concentration and mental clarity

  • Antioxidant protection from daily stress.

Traditional Japanese monks relied on matcha for meditation focus. Now you can harness that same steady, calm energy. Ready to ditch the coffee rollercoaster?

The Navy SEAL Calm Technique

Elite operators discovered something ancient yogis knew: six breaths per minute instantly hacks your nervous system.

During high-stress missions, SEALs use controlled breathing to maintain focus under pressure. The technique activates your parasympathetic "rest and digest" mode in 60 seconds.

The Protocol:

  • Deep inhale through nose

  • Complete exhale through pursed lips

  • Repeat for exactly 60 seconds

Recent research confirms this breathing pattern stimulates the vagus nerve more effectively than any other frequency. Longer exhales trigger stress-busting neurotransmitters that calm anxiety in real-time.

No practice needed—use anywhere during presentations, difficult conversations, or overwhelming moments.

Night Owls: Ignore Your Genes, Sleep by 1am

Your chronotype is irrelevant. Stanford researchers studied 75,000 adults and found a shocking truth: night owls staying up late have higher mental health disorders—regardless of their "natural" schedule. Dr. Jamie Zeitzer discovered everyone benefits from sleeping before 1 AM. The problem isn't chronotype misalignment, it's poor late-night decision-making. Override your biology.
