TOP STORY TODAY
Prince Andrew Arrested
Thames Valley Police arrested Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor on his 66th birthday on suspicion of misconduct in public office. He was held for 11 hours before being released under investigation. Officers simultaneously searched royal properties in Berkshire and Norfolk.
The arrest stems from allegations Andrew shared confidential government information with Jeffrey Epstein (WSJ) during his tenure as a UK trade envoy. King Charles issued a statement supporting full cooperation with the investigation. The Palace was not notified in advance.
Misconduct in public office carries a maximum life sentence, though convictions are rare. At least nine police forces are currently reviewing related allegations against Andrew.
Markets Eye Iran
U.S. military buildup in the Middle East rattled global markets Thursday, with Brent crude climbing above $71 per barrel and S&P 500 futures falling. President Trump is reportedly weighing possible strikes against Iran as soon as this weekend amid stalled nuclear negotiations.
Analysts warn a major attack could push oil to $90 per barrel, with some regional officials cautioning the White House that a full war could drive prices into triple digits. Iran and the U.S. held indirect talks in Geneva, with Tehran claiming progress.
The stakes are high for Trump domestically. Falling gas prices have been a rare win on inflation, and military action threatening global oil supply routes could reverse that quickly.
J&J's Billion-Dollar Bet
Johnson & Johnson announced a $1 billion-plus investment in a cell therapy manufacturing facility in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. The project will create over 4,000 construction jobs and 500 permanent biomanufacturing positions.
The Pennsylvania facility is part of J&J's broader $55 billion U.S. investment plan through early 2029, covering manufacturing, research, and technology. Several major drugmakers have announced similar domestic expansions in recent months.
The timing is notable. Pharmaceutical companies have increasingly publicized U.S. manufacturing commitments amid President Trump's threatened tariffs on imported drugs, suggesting relief from those tariffs may factor into investment decisions.

TODAY’S LIFE ADVICE
Arthur Brooks: The Science of Starting Your Day Right
Arthur Brooks is a Harvard professor and happiness researcher, appearing on The Tim Ferriss Show to discuss his daily disciplines (10-minute video).
1.
Brahma Muhurta: Waking Before Dawn
In Vedic tradition, the Brahma Muhurta is the "creator's time:" an hour and 36 minutes before dawn. Arthur wakes at 4:30am, aligning with this ancient practice now backed by modern science. Rising before dawn has measurable impacts on productivity, focus, concentration, and mood. His view: if you wake up when the sun is already warm, you've already lost the first battle of the day.
2.
The Longevity Workout Routine
Arthur trains one hour every day, seven days a week, from 4:45 to 5:45am. His approach is old-school push/pull/legs using dumbbells instead of barbells for full range of motion and joint safety. As he's aged, he prioritizes volume over weight. More reps, not more load. The split is roughly 2/3 resistance training and 1/3 Zone 2 cardio on an elliptical, adjusting the ratio based on how active the rest of his day will be.
3.
Why He Trains Without Headphones
Arthur does much of his workout in silence. No music, no podcasts. The reason is neuroscience-backed: early morning is your most creative window, and working out without headphones lets your mind wander and generate ideas. He compares it to a long shower. Filling that mental space with audio kills the creative benefit. The gym becomes a thinking environment, not just a physical one.
