TOP STORY TODAY

Iran Eyes US Firms

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps threatened to strike US and Israeli economic centers and banks in the region, warning civilians to stay at least one kilometer from such facilities. The threat follows an Israeli strike on a Tehran bank branch that killed several employees (More).

The IRGC-affiliated Tasnim agency published a list of US companies with Israeli ties as potential targets, including Google, Microsoft, Palantir, IBM, Nvidia, and Oracle, citing offices across Israeli cities and several Gulf nations.

Iran states US and Israeli forces have struck nearly 10,000 civilian sites and killed over 1,300 people since fighting began February 28. Ship strikes surge.

Tesla Ditches Steering Wheel

Tesla's Cybercab, a vehicle with no steering wheel or pedals (video), rolled off its Austin production line last month. Mass production is planned for April, with CEO Elon Musk targeting a price under $30,000 and annual output of two million units.

The car requires federal approval before public sale (WSJ). Tesla has not yet applied for an NHTSA exemption, which is capped at 2,500 vehicles annually. Without it, Tesla must certify the Cybercab meets all existing federal safety standards.

Tesla's automotive revenue fell 10% in 2025, making the Cybercab's commercial success critical to the company's financial trajectory (a look back at the automated cars in Spielberg’s Minority Report).

Mac Mini’s Moment

Perplexity launched Personal Computer, a local AI agent system running on a dedicated Mac mini (video). The product gives its Comet assistant persistent access to files, apps, and sessions, manageable remotely. Perplexity Max subscribers can join an early access waitlist.

The system includes safeguards such as activity tracking, user approval for sensitive tasks, and a kill switch. An enterprise version taps 20 AI models, 400+ app connections, and Slack integration for team workflows.

Perplexity positions Personal Computer as a more controlled alternative to OpenClaw (beginner video), reflecting broader industry momentum toward always-on, locally hosted AI agents.

TODAY’S LIFE ADVICE

The Best Home Workout Needs Just Two Things

Mind Pump's latest episode breaks down a complete dumbbell-only program that can drive real progress for a full year.

The verdict: adjustable dumbbells and a bench are all you need.

Key moves and tips:

  • Backstep lunges over forward lunges (less knee stress, better posterior chain)

  • Single-leg deadlifts (70 lb dumbbell = 140 lb barbell load on working leg)

  • Arnold press for full shoulder development

  • Incline press over flat for better results and fewer injuries

Start at 15 reps, drop to 10, then 5 by month three.

Cardiologist: You’re Losing 15 Years of Your Life…

The gap between healthspan (average ending at 65) and lifespan (average ending at 80) represents 15 years of decline driven by lifestyle factors. Exercise stands out as the single most impactful intervention, as it trains your immune system, slows biological aging, and protects against all three major age-related diseases: cancer, heart disease, and neurodegeneration. Start resistance training now, not later.
