TOP STORY TODAY
Verizon Outage Fixed
Verizon resolved a widespread outage Wednesday night that disrupted wireless services for customers, particularly in the eastern U.S. The problem started around noon Eastern time and was fixed by 10 p.m. The company will provide account credits.
Over one million problem reports were submitted within 24 hours, according to Downdetector, peaking at 178,000 concurrent reports Wednesday afternoon. Major metro areas including New York, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Miami saw concentrated outages.
Verizon apologized and advised customers experiencing continued issues to restart devices. The company named new CEO Daniel Schulman in October and began cutting 13,000 employees in November, its largest-ever layoff round. Emergency alerts in DC.

Greenland Talks Stall
Denmark's Foreign Minister said Wednesday a "fundamental disagreement" remains with President Trump over Greenland after White House talks. Both sides agreed to form a working group. Trump said he won't "give up options" on the territory.
Danish and Greenlandic officials met with Vice President Vance and Secretary of State Rubio. Trump continues demanding U.S. control of the semiautonomous territory, citing national security. Denmark announced plans to boost Arctic military presence (Why does Trump want Greenland?)
Trump named Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry as special envoy to Greenland last month. Danish and Greenlandic officials expressed hope the working group could lead to stronger cooperation while respecting sovereignty limits (NYT).
Grocery Aisles Transform
Major food companies are overhauling supermarket products, removing artificial dyes, seed oils, and high-fructose corn syrup while adding protein. Kraft Heinz, General Mills, and PepsiCo are leading changes driven by consumer demand and federal pressure.
Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s MAHA movement sparked ingredient scrutiny. Companies are switching to olive and avocado oils, replacing dyes with natural extracts. U.S. whole milk sales rose 5% in 52 weeks through December while overall cow's milk declined 1%.
Industry experts call this the biggest simultaneous change wave in decades. Protein and fiber are being added across categories. Reformulated items may cost more as grocery prices already increased 2.4% over the past year. This could start to change “perimeter shopping.”

3 Tricks Billionaires Use to Help Protect Wealth Through Shaky Markets
“If I hear bad news about the stock market one more time, I’m gonna be sick.” We get it. Investors are rattled, costs keep rising, and the world keeps getting weirder.
So, who’s better at handling their money than the uber-rich?
Hold extra cash for expenses and buying cheap if markets fall.
Diversify outside stocks (Gold, real estate, etc.).
Hold a slice of wealth in alternatives that tend not to move with equities.
The catch? Most alternatives aren’t open to everyday investors
That’s why Masterworks exists: 70,000+ members invest in shares of something that’s appreciated more overall than the S&P 500 over 30 years without moving in lockstep with it.*
Contemporary and post war art by legends like Banksy, Basquiat, and more. Sounds crazy, but it’s real. One way to help reclaim control this week:

TODAY’S LIFE ADVICE
Inside Jeremy Renner's Peptide Protocol
Two years ago, actor Jeremy Renner suffered 38 broken bones, a fractured skull, liver lacerations, and severe soft tissue damage in a snowplow accident. His recovery defied medical expectations through an aggressive multimodal protocol.
Renner's Recovery Protocol:
Peptide injections: BPC-157, TB-500, and Ipamorelin
IV therapy: Weekly IV drips for hydration, minerals, and vitamins
Stem cell and exosome treatments
Red light therapy and hyperbaric chamber therapy
Intensive physical therapy sessions
High-protein nutrition focused on muscle rebuilding
Renner called IV drips "the greatest cheat code I've done since my accident,” allowing him to fuel recovery instantly. The peptide combo of BPC-157 and TB-500 promotes tissue regeneration and reduces inflammation, while Ipamorelin stimulates growth hormone for muscle repair.
