Trump's Crypto Windfall
President Trump's annual financial disclosure, released yesterday, showed he brought in at least $2.2 billion during his first year back in office (NYT). That marks a sharp jump from the $622 million minimum he reported for all of 2024.
Crypto drove the surge, generating roughly $1.4 billion. An Emirati-linked investment firm bought a 49% stake in his World Liberty Financial venture, and sales of his $TRUMP memecoin topped $600 million before the coin's price sank. Financial disclosure here.
Real estate and foreign licensing deals added more, including over $14 million from Saudi Arabia and Qatar projects. The $TRUMP memecoin now trades near $1.67, down roughly 80% from a year ago. Trump says outside money runs his accounts.
The Egg Cartel
The Justice Department this week alleged that three of America's largest egg producers, Cal-Maine, Hickman's, and Versova, coordinated bids from 2022 to 2025 to push wholesale prices higher during a period of record grocery costs.
Executives allegedly flooded a wholesale marketplace called the Egg Clearinghouse with aggressive bids, some later canceled, to lift a benchmark set by the firm Urner Barry. Grocery contracts often track that benchmark, so shoppers felt it.
The companies denied wrongdoing but agreed to settle by donating more than 50 million eggs to food banks and paying $3.3 million to states. A judge still must approve the deal, which follows a sharp drop in egg prices.

Daredevil Climbers Proposal
Two daredevil climbers scaled the Empire State Building's 1,454-foot antenna yesterday, unfurled a banner about love, and were arrested after coming down. One proposed to the other near the spire during the roughly 30-minute stunt (photos).
The pair, Angela Nikolau, 33, and Ivan Beerkus, 32, live in New Jersey. A source said they slipped through a mesh gate on the publicly accessible 102nd floor to reach the spire access above. She said yes, then wore the ring down.
Charges are pending, police said. Climbing a NYC building without permission is a misdemeanor carrying up to a year in jail. The pair were profiled in the 2024 Netflix documentary "Skywalkers: A Love Story," which premiered at Sundance.

5 habits that add 10 years (and the AI that builds your plan today)
Longevity is not a mystery or a supplement stack. Decades of research keep pointing at the same short list, and most people never run it because no one hands them the plan.
The five that decide how long you live:
Grip strength, the surprising predictor of death that beats blood pressure
VO2 max, the single most important number for a long life
Creatine, the safest, most studied supplement there is
Walking, the free daily habit hiding in plain sight
Sauna, 20 minutes of heat with a startling payoff
You know the what. The guide below gives you the how, the exact dose, the moves, and the plan for each one. Then comes the bonus: an AI protocol builder. Paste one prompt and it writes a custom workout around your goals, your time, and your gear, in about a minute.
The thing about making it “look easy”
A reviewer once told Tom Hanks he made acting look easy, "like Joe DiMaggio in center field." Years later Hanks actually met DiMaggio and repeated the line. Joe put a hand over his heart and said, "It looked easy, but it wasn't in here." That is the whole game. Effortless is just work you did in private, on the days nobody watched. Even Paul Newman told Hanks legends feel self-conscious on take one. So do your reps ugly and alone. Easy gets earned.
